What this is

A general or special power of attorney authorising a named person to act for you - to manage or sell property, operate bank accounts, appear in court or before authorities, run a business, or complete one specific task - drafted to the exact powers you want to give and no more, with the execution, notarisation, registration or consular attestation your situation needs. It is for property owners, NRIs, the elderly, businesses and litigants. Our panel advocate drafts and reviews the deed and delivers it signed on letterhead; notarisation, registration and attestation are separate steps we explain.

What you get

A power of attorney drafted, reviewed and signed by our panel advocate on letterhead, covering the principal and the attorney, the purpose, the powers granted with specific limits, the property or matters covered, duration and revocation, sub-delegation, the attorney's duties and accounting, ratification, and the execution and attestation block, drafted as a general or special power as you choose. Delivered ready for execution, with a note on stamp duty, on whether registration with the Sub-Registrar is required or advisable (compulsory in several states for powers concerning immovable property, and always where the attorney is to sell), and on execution abroad through the Indian consulate or apostille for NRIs. Stamp duty, notarisation, registration and consular charges are not included.
