What this is
A residential rent or lease agreement between a landlord and a tenant for a house, flat or room, drafted to the terms you have agreed and to the rent law of your state. It is for owners letting out a home and for tenants who want the agreement done properly. Our panel advocate drafts and reviews the agreement and delivers it signed on letterhead; stamping and registration, where required, are separate steps we explain.
What you get
A residential rent agreement drafted, reviewed and signed by our panel advocate on letterhead, covering the parties, premises, term, rent and escalation, deposit and its refund, notice period and lock-in, maintenance and repairs, utilities, permitted use and occupants, subletting, entry, termination, default and dispute resolution, with an inventory schedule where furnished. Delivered to you as a document ready for execution, with a note on the stamp duty, e-stamping and registration that apply in your state, and on whether registration is compulsory for the term chosen. Stamp paper, e-stamp and registration charges are not included; the rent-agreement-registration-e-stamp service handles those steps.
