What this is

Drafting and filing an application under the Right to Information Act to a central or state public authority - the right questions framed so they must be answered, addressed to the correct Public Information Officer, filed online or by post with the fee - and the first appeal where the reply is late, incomplete or wrongly refused. It is for citizens, businesses and NGOs seeking records, status of applications, decisions, expenditure or reasons from any government body. The application fee is shown separately.

What you get

An RTI application drafted, reviewed and signed by our panel advocate, with the information sought framed as specific, answerable requests within the Act, the correct public authority and Public Information Officer identified, the fee paid, the application filed on the RTI Online portal for central authorities or on the state portal or by registered post where required, the registration number or postal proof delivered, and a note on the thirty-day reply period, the forty-eight-hour period for life-and-liberty matters, the exemptions the authority may cite and how to answer them, and the first appeal. Where the reply is late or unsatisfactory, the first appeal to the First Appellate Authority is drafted and filed as the plan includes. Government fees are shown separately and not included in our fee.
