What this is

A self-declaration or undertaking - a signed statement of facts or a promise to do or not do something - that an authority, employer, bank, school, society, landlord or counterparty has asked for, drafted so it says what is needed and no more than you should commit to. Our panel advocate drafts and reviews the document and delivers it signed on letterhead; notarisation, if the recipient requires it, is a separate step we explain.

What you get
